Hi, goodnight…my brethren told me it was revealed to him that the day in the bible begins at sunrise. but learning from our congregation that it begins and ends at sunset, i was open to knowing Gods truth. so i googled and came upon your website. i must say, i always ask The Holy Spirit to guide my understanding. I am really interest in learning more from you. i am a Sabbath keeper and also keep all God’s Holy Days. Thank you. goodnight.

Hello VSR,

Thank you for dropping in. I hope you found the article A Day Begins At Sunrise easy to read. Are you attending church with a Hebrew Roots group? It sounds as if you are because you keep the sabbath and the holy days as shown in the Old Testament. They will not like it that you are reading the articles on my website. But I can guide you to the truth as you listen and hunger for knowledge through the Holy Spirit. Christ has fulfilled the Law and the Prophets - for all time.

Matthew 5:17 KJV, "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

Fulfill means that He has completed the requirements for everyone for all time and has freed them from trying to keep the law. Something they were not able to do anyway, no matter how hard they tried.

Acts 15:10 KJV, "Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?

Those you study under will come up with many fine sounding argument and Scriptures they twist. But they deny the power of Christ Yahoshua, and offend Him, by thinking they need to help Him keep them saved.

Galatians 5:4 KJV, "Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

Galatians 5:8 KJV, "But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

You asked the Holy Spirit to guide you. Trust in Him.

Until you write again, and please do, I suggest you study the series on this site Sabbath Keeping.

It is with great joy that I have round you and your website. I began searching the Bible to find the truths of God many decades ago. I found that traditions of men and of the Jews are not the source of truth and in most cases are the source of errors

I would like to get to know you as I have read on your website things that I have only found on my own website until I found yours.

Future communications might be better email.

I am not a kook. I am sincere and an open book

I am hoping that you are who and what you say you are.

I want to read everything you have written.

I learned the truth of days beginning at sunrise around 1999. I would like to present my belief that instruction in Lev. 23:32 pertained only to the fasting which was how they were to ‘celebrate’ that Sabbath and had nothing to do with the actual beginning or ending of the Day of Atonement. Do you think this idea has merit?

Anyway, I really look forward to hearing from you.

Hello RW:

Thank you for dropping in. I have written about Lev. 23:32 on this site A Day Begins At Sunrise paragraph 9a,b,c. I mention in these paragraphs about the fast, as you have just mentioned. It appears that we are in agreement about this.

Hello O.,

In reference to the article Haughty Spirits:

Thank you for coming to this site and sharing your experience and opinion about Zac Poonen. I spent many years researching and critiquing many so-called ministers of the gospel. The enemy of our souls must have been happy about that, I burned up a lot of time that I could have used studying the Bible and teaching others. Besides, there are so many deceivers in the world with so many different takes on their heresies, and new ones pop up everyday, that it is impossible for even a full staff of researchers to keep up with them. So, my Heavenly Father had me write this article Haughty Spirits. With the few simple tests I use in this article, most deceivers can be discerned. Then I move onto the next assignment prepared before my birth. It does not surprise me that Zac teaches things - such as Christ's sexual temptation - that are not found in the Bible. If it is not in the Bible he has no valid source nor reason for such idle speculation. If you cannot convince any of your friends of Zac's problematic teachings, then more details and specifics beyond my article will not convince them either. Since their spirit seems quite comfortable with a spirit that is not from God, they need to examine themselves to see if they are in the faith: 2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV, "Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that [Yahoshua the] Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?"
